Rooted Care Institute is committed to creating safe, affirming, and culturally responsive spaces for men of color and underserved communities impacted by HIV, health disparities, stigma, and gaps in care. Our services are rooted in compassion, education, advocacy, and whole person wellness.

We understand that healthcare is not just about treatment. It is also about trust, access, dignity, and being cared for by people who understand your lived experience. Rooted Care Institute was created to help individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate their health journey.

HIV Prevention & PrEP Education

Rooted Care Institute provides education and resources focused on HIV prevention, including PrEP awareness, safer sex practices, routine testing, and risk reduction. Our goal is to help individuals make informed decisions about their sexual health without fear, shame, or judgment.

We aim to reduce stigma by providing culturally relevant conversations around prevention, especially for men of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and communities that have historically faced barriers to accurate information and affirming care.

HIV Care Support &

Health Navigation

Rooted Care Institute supports individuals living with HIV by helping them understand their care options, connect to resources, and remain engaged in treatment. We recognize that navigating healthcare systems can be overwhelming, especially for those facing stigma, medical mistrust, financial barriers, or lack of support.

Our health navigation efforts are designed to help individuals feel less alone while connecting them to appropriate care, treatment support, community resources, and services that promote long term wellness.

Mental Health &

Emotional Wellness Support

Rooted Care Institute recognizes that mental health is a vital part of overall wellness. Many individuals impacted by HIV, identity based stigma, trauma, rejection, or discrimination carry emotional burdens that often go unseen.

Our mental health and emotional wellness services are designed to promote healing, self worth, resilience, and support. Through education, referrals, group discussions, and community based programming, we seek to create safe spaces where individuals can process, heal, and grow.

Community Education & Advocacy

At Rooted Care Institute is committed to raising awareness about HIV, health equity, prevention, treatment, and the social factors that impact access to care. Through workshops, outreach events, community conversations, and educational materials, we work to empower individuals and communities with knowledge.
